It’s been a long wait, but indoor league finally returned to Archers of Warrnambool with the start of the Summer competition kicking off Friday the 4th of December. All members have been keen to see a return to indoor shooting after the Covid-19 restrictions kept archers of the 18 metre indoor range.
Club Captain Dave “Chopper” Reid was a picture of consistency twice shooting 288 out of 300, giving him bragging rights with the highest scores for each of the two rounds.
Other archers to shoot well on the night included Connor Barbary who beat his previous best score by 47 points and Mick Austin who missed bettering his previous best by only 2. Riley Austin was the best of the junior archers with a very nice 135.
